The cabinets in our kitchen were showing their age; water damage to finish, uneven color fading and scratches. So, Gretchen and and I decided to refinish them. The doors and cabinet fronts are solid wood and refinishing was by far the least expensive option! So, we googled and visited the paint stores to learn how to do the job.

Then we spent the next 12 weeks cleaning, sanding, priming, sanding, painting, sanding and painting until the job was complete! It was a lot of work and we learned a lot; and we are really pleased with the result of our efforts!
