The Morgan, a challenging ride by any measure (44 miles from the James River Visitors Center to the Peaks of Otter on the Blue Ridge Parkway and back with 5,251 feet of elevation gain) was done three times today. But how is that possible with only two of the three TOF Brothers? Well, Gary got up early (think middle of the night shift) and began riding at 6:15 a.m. (my body would claim cruel and unusual punishment), finishing his first Morgan at 10:45 a.m.
I met him and we did the Morgan again! That's a total of three Morgans! Gary, you are one tough, incredible biker dude! And to think today was just a training ride for Gary's annual 200-his age trek which he plans to do this Sunday.
